We're launching Restaurant of the Month

First up is the functionalist gem, Ekebergrestauranten.

All Spenn users dining at the restaurant during May will earn 10 Spenn per 10 kr by scanning a QR code before payment.

Walk-ins are welcome as long as there’s availability. Sunny May days at Ekeberg tend to be busy, so booking in advance is recommended.

In the time ahead, you can look forward to earning Spenn at places like Grand Café, Festningen, Brasserie Opera, and Grilleriet.

Iconic restaurant with the city's best view

Architect Lars Backer designed the iconic functionalist building, completed in 1929. After falling into disrepair in the 1990s, the restaurant reopened in 2005, nestled in a forest filled with art, offering outdoor seating and arguably the best view in town.

The menu is Nordic with French influences, based on the season’s finest ingredients and paired with a carefully curated wine list.
