The launch marks an important step in integrating Spenn points into Reitan Retail’s customer engagement programmes. With high frequency and broad presence, Narvesen and 7-Eleven open up the Spenn ecosystem to many more customers, who can now earn and use Spenn with brands they already use in everyday life.
Earlier this year, Spenn earning was introduced on car washes at Uno-X. Customers can already earn and use Spenn with Norwegian and Strawberry, as well as earn with more than 100 partners across the Nordics.
This is an important step in making Spenn more relevant in everyday life, not just for those who travel frequently or stay in hotels. When you can also earn and use points in daily situations, both the value and usage increase significantly, says Christoffer Sundby, CEO of Spenn Group.
With Narvesen and 7-Eleven on board, Spenn Group takes another step towards becoming a natural hub for loyalty, where network effects create value beyond what individual companies can achieve on their own. Points earned from a coffee at Narvesen or a stop at 7-Eleven can later be used for travel with Norwegian or stays with Strawberry — and vice versa — seamlessly, without the need to convert between different types of points.
