From 8 June, the bonus in the REMA app can be converted into Spenn points, which can be earned and used both at REMA 1000 and across other participating brands. This means REMA customers can earn and use their Spenn points on everything from groceries and car washes to hotel stays and flights.

Now, REMA 1000 customers have even more ways to use their bonus. They can shop as usual at the same low prices, but their bonus can now be converted into Spenn points that can be used both at REMA 1000 and across many other brands.
Spenn can be earned and used across well-known brands throughout the Nordics, including Strawberry, Norwegian, Narvesen, 7-Eleven and Uno-X.
– We know that our customers are looking for different kinds of benefits. With Spenn, customers get even more choice in how they earn and use their bonus. Customer surveys show that some prefer to save on their grocery shopping, while others want to use their bonus on things beyond groceries, such as hotel stays or flights. Most importantly, we want this to be simple, relevant and to provide even more value in everyday life,” says Pia Mellbye, Director of Sales and Marketing at REMA 1000.
Since its launch in 2024, around 3 million users have earned and used Spenn points – primarily on hotel stays and flights. Today, REMA 1000 joins Spenn, following the launch of Uno-X, Narvesen and 7-Eleven earlier this year.
– Spenn is now becoming even more useful. Together with the brands of Reitan Retail, we are bringing Spenn into everyday purchases, making it relevant in even more parts of daily life, says Christoffer Sundby, CEO of Spenn, and continues:
– You can earn Spenn on everything from fruit and vegetables at REMA 1000 to a car wash at Uno-X, and use them on a flight with Norwegian, a hotel stay with Strawberry, or a snack on the go from Narvesen or 7-Eleven. Or the other way around, if you prefer. That flexibility is at the very heart of what Spenn is all about.
