1. Introduction and Parties

These sales terms and conditions apply to the purchase of Norgesbilletten through the Spenn platform. The sale is conducted by Spenn Group AS, business registration number 932 435 888, Inkognitogata 33A, 0256 Oslo (hereinafter "Spenn" or "we").When you, as a Spenn user, order Norgesbilletten in the Spenn app, you enter into an agreement with Spenn for the purchase of a gift card. Spenn acts as a reseller and is your contractual counterparty. Norgesbilletten is produced by Filmweb AS (business registration number 981 451 973), which delivers the underlying cinema service when the ticket code is redeemed.

2. What is Norgesbilletten?

Norgesbilletten is a gift card that covers the price of one standard cinema ticket at Norwegian cinemas. The gift card is delivered as a digital code (hereinafter "the ticket code").The following conditions apply to the use of Norgesbilletten:

  • The ticket code is valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue.

  • The ticket code can be used at all cinemas in Norway for all standard cinema screenings.

  • For screenings with a higher standard ticket price than usual (for example 3D films, premium auditoriums, film festivals and gala screenings), the cinema may charge an additional fee beyond the ticket code value.

  • The ticket code is only valid in Norway.

  • The ticket code cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded after expiry.

The full terms of use for Norgesbilletten are provided by Filmweb and are available at https://norgesbilletten.no/salgsbetingelser/. These terms of use form a supplement to these sales terms and conditions.

  • be registered as a Spenn user,

  • be at least 16 years of age, and

  • be resident in Norway.

3.2 Price and Payment

Norgesbilletten is purchased with Spenn (points) in the Spenn app. The price in Spenn is set by Spenn Group AS and may change over time. The current price is displayed in the app before the order is placed. The purchase is completed by confirming the order, and the Spenn price is deducted from your Spenn balance upon confirmation. No new Spenn is earned on purchases paid entirely with Spenn, cf. Spenn's general terms and conditions, Section 3.In the event of the exercise of the right of withdrawal or any other obligation to reverse a transaction, the consideration will be refunded in Spenn to your Spenn account, cf. the Consumer Purchase Act, Section 49(2), and the Right of Withdrawal Act, Section 24(1).3.3 DeliveryThe ticket code is delivered digitally immediately after a confirmed purchase. 3.4 Restrictions

  • Norgesbilletten is sold as a personal gift card for Spenn users. Resale and commercial distribution are not permitted.

  • Spenn may limit the number of Norgesbilletten that can be purchased per user or per period.

  • Norgesbilletten cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded as Spenn after expiry, or exchanged for other products.

4. Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right of withdrawal under Sections 20 and 21 of the Right of Withdrawal Act. Norgesbilletten is an open gift card without a fixed screening date, and the general rule of the Right of Withdrawal Act applies. This means that you may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of entering into the agreement, without giving any reason and without any cost to you.The withdrawal period begins on the day the purchase is confirmed in the app. The right of withdrawal applies regardless of the fact that the ticket code is made digitally available immediately after purchase.

When does the right of withdrawal lapse?
The right of withdrawal lapses if the ticket code is redeemed at a cinema during the withdrawal period. In that case, the service has been fully consumed and there is no longer anything to withdraw. If the code has not been redeemed, you may exercise the right of withdrawal throughout the entire 14-day period.

How to exercise your right of withdrawal:
Send a message to support@spenngroup.com with details of your Spenn account and the purchase you wish to withdraw. You may also use the standard withdrawal form from the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet). Upon valid exercise of the right of withdrawal, the consideration will be refunded in Spenn to your Spenn account within 14 days of our receipt of the message.

5. Cancellation

Norgesbilletten has a 12-month validity period from the date of purchase but is not linked to a specific screening or date. There is no statutory right of cancellation beyond the right of withdrawal described in Section 4, and Spenn does not offer any further right of cancellation for this product.

6. Complaints and Defects

Norgesbilletten is a digital gift card which, according to the preparatory works of EU law, is considered a digital expression of value and not digital content. Complaints regarding defects are therefore governed by Section 27 of the Consumer Purchase Act.If you find that the ticket code does not work, is not accepted by the cinema, or otherwise has a defect, you must contact Spenn at support@spenngroup.com as soon as possible and no later than within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered.Spenn will investigate the matter and, if there is a defect for which Spenn is responsible, offer a new valid ticket code or a refund of the price in Spenn to your Spenn account.Spenn is not responsible for:

  • Changes to the cinema's programme, cancelled screenings or films not shown as planned.

  • Additional costs at screenings with a higher ticket price than the standard price (see Section 2).

  • Loss of the ticket code due to the user's own handling, including forwarding, sharing or failure to store the code securely.

7. Liability

Spenn is responsible for ensuring that the ticket code is valid and can be used as described in Section 2 throughout the twelve-month validity period. As described in these sales terms and conditions, Spenn is not responsible for the services provided by the cinema upon redemption of the ticket code, including the cinema's programme, ticketing and redemption systems, or matters relating to the cinema experience itself.Spenn's liability does not extend beyond what is required by mandatory law.
